Budget, the word that has practically defined the last 3 years, with resources stretched just how do our network of schools make our events happen?
Utilise our funding
We have been working in education and specifically events for 10 years with another 6 years in the classroom. We know a thing or two about UK Funding Grants. Where to apply, who to ask and when. We’re certain we’ve a pot that we can draw some funding from towards your school or college event, theres numerous nationally open for applications
Pupil Premium budget
Schools have ring fenced budgets for closing the attainment gap. Speak to your SLT team in school about this funding and how it’s used. You might be able to apply to access this internally, if not this year then next!
Pool resources
With most schools now part of an academy why not partner up with one or more other schools to run our events, we’ve ran events in the past where up to 10 local schools each sent 6 more able/high achievers to take part and one acted as a host, a great way to split the school contribution cost and widen reach
Off peak dates
We offer reduced rate events in half term or on selected dates such as bank holidays and some teacher training days, contact us to see if there are any off peak dates available this year
Student/parent contribution
Some schools seek a parent/student contribution towards the event, letters go out to gauge interest, parents/students make a contribution to the school and the event goes ahead on a date of their choice. This can even be after school or college, we’re very flexible
Organise a FREE TO HOST EVENT
Get in touch with us to see about our free to host events held out of term time or on a weekend
With all of our events the school contribution is never 100% of the event cost as we’re experts in securing some part grant funding for you, let us do what we’re good at; get in touch today, it’s easier than you think!
