Aspiring MVD students at Woodhouse College, North London take part in Premed Anatomy

We’re back at Woodhouse College today and students have so far taken part in a morning of neuro, having extracted and dissected a real brain to learn about the cerebral cortex, the myelin tracts inside the brain, the cranial meninges and meningitis.

They have excised the eye to see its inner workings helping to understand how the nervous system and the network of action potentials maintains homeostasis and keeps us alive.

Still to come today a full thoracic dissection coupled with an examination of the gastric tract.
